Meatballs, Chips and Gravy Recipe

Meatballs, chips and gravy is the perfect winter warmer menu item for patrons of all ages. A great addition to any large establishment menu that caters to the masses or with buffet-style dining.

Ingredients

  • Angel Bay Gourmet Beef Meatballs
  • Chips
  • Chicken and Beef Stock Cubes
  • 4 tbsp Flour
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • Parsley
  • 256ml Boiling Water

Method

  1. Start by preparing your Angel Bay Gourmet Beef Meatballs according to the product instructions. We recommend using a hot plate to get a caramelised finish on the meatballs.

  2. Prepare your chips according to supplier instructions.

  3. With 5 minutes left to cook on your chips and Gourmet Meatballs, move on to creating a show stopper gravy. If you prefer a different gravy, the following instructions can be replaced with those preparation steps.

  4. Dissolve both stock cubes in boiling water.

  5. Melt butter in saucepan and mix in flour.

  6. Pour in stock while whiskying and cook for 1.5 minutes until thickened.

  7. Plate up meatballs, chips and pour gravy over meatballs. Alternatively, you can serve this dish with the gravy in a serving jug on the side. Garnish with parsley and serve!
