These delicious Swedish meatballs are a great winter warmer menu item if you're looking for something to whack on the specials board. Easily served as a dish with a side of mash or boxed up for the lunchtime takeaway trade.
In a fry pan, cook Angel Bay meatballs according the product instructions. Add 1 tbsp of butter during cooking to enhance the flavour. Once cooked, remove meatballs from pan and leave juices.
Add 1/3 butter to pan and melt. Whisk in flour until it dissolves and turns brown.
Pour in beef broth, cream, soy sauce and dijon mustard. Bring to a simmer and season with salt and pepper. Stir until thickened.
Once thickened, place meatballs back in the sauce for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and serve over a bed of mash potato and a side of ligenberry jam.
