October Update

October proved to be a fun month for the team, marked by the warm welcome extended to our newest team members, Lisa and Song, who have joined the team in our Brisbane office. Their role involves scheduling appointments for our national sales representatives, keeping them connected to our end users and delivering free samples.

In the culinary realm, Chef Liam showcased his creativity by creating five new breakfast recipes to help with your Summer menu planning. Featuring our popular breakfast sausage patties and veggie patty, each dish offers a fresh perspective on how breakfast and brunch (and blunch?!), stepping away from our typical burger-centric recipes. Whether it's the enticing Beetroot Hummus Veggie Patty and Ricotta Eggs or the indulgent Veggie Patty Wrapped Omelette and Whipped Goat's Cheese Bagel, these recipes are sure to delight your diners.

 

 Down south in Tassie, our representatives, James and Oswald, attended the PFD Tassie Tradeshow. Stopping off at Devonport, Launceston, and Hobart over the three day-event.

During the visit, Oswald teamed up with Johnnos Tasmania, a well-known jam and sauce manufacturer to show what our two products could do if used in the same dish. Together, they showcased our Gourmet Meatballs paired with Johnnos Tasmania's flavorful tomato chutney. This collaboration not only earned us an unexpected award but also received high praise from satisfied end users and impressed PFD staff! 

Amidst the trade show buzz, we ran a competition giving away an Airfryer to all the customers who visited our stand and entered. We were pleased to announce Ian from Furners Hotel as the fortunate winner of our giveaway—a coveted kitchen companion for any culinary enthusiast.

At the back end of the month, NSW representative James was back on the road with his companion Glenn, heading up to EWH Newcastle. The boys met with the team to host a great Lunch on Us event. The guys reported back that the event went well. It was great to visit the site again and help support this distributor in a charity lunch they were hosting.

As October draws to a close, we find ourselves on the cusp of the summer months, a period of heightened activity for our end users. With a whirlwind of engagements on the horizon, the team stands poised to deliver any last-minute samples to any customers who need them.
