Asian Slaw Beef Burger Recipe

Asian slaw is a modern twist on the crunchy Asian salad which makes a great accompaniment to our Homestyle beef burger patties. When piled high, this burger looks impressive when being served - guaranteed to have diners at neighbouring tables craning their necks to get a look.

Serve on a wooden serving board with hand cut chips or wedges to complete the rustic, homemade look of this dish.

Ingredients

  • Angel Bay Homestyle Beef Burger
  • Brioche Burger Bun
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Relish
  • Cabbage, finely sliced
  • Red Cabbage, finely sliced
  • Italian Parsley, finely sliced
  • Red Onion, finely sliced
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Green Yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard

Method

  1. Create the Asian slaw by mixing together the cabbage, red cabbage, parsley and onion. In a separate bowl, create the dressing by combining the mayonnaise, yoghurt and mustard. Add enough dressing to the cabbage mix to ensure a sturdy consistency - you want to avoid the mix being too wet.

  2. Cook the Angel Bay Homestyle Beef Burger patty according to the product instructions. While the patties are cooking, halve the burger bun and lightly toast both sides on the grill.

  3. To assemble the burger, spread a generous layer of tomato relish on the bottom bun. Add the patty and the asain slaw and set the top bun. Bon appetit!
