Loaded Cheeseburger

We love our bread, we love our butter, but most of all, we love Cheeseburgers. Made with Angel Bay Gourmet Beef Patties, mustard, cheddar and gherkins.

This recipe is inspired by the classic American cheeseburger using juicy, New Zealand Beef Patties. Line up, load up and look up for your returning customers - this burger recipe is a staple.

Ingredients

  • Angel Bay Gourmet Beef Burger Patties
  • Hamburger Buns (softer the better)
  • Cheddar Cheese, slices
  • Tomatoes, sliced
  • Onion, finely diced
  • Tomato Sauce
  • American Mustard
  • Gherkins, sliced
  • Butter Lettuce
  • Good-Quality Mayonnaise (optional, but recommended)

Method

  1. Cook the Angel Bay Gourmet Beef Patties according to the packet instructions.

  2. Split the burger buns and lightly grill one side. Spread tomato sauce and mustard.

  3. Spread the bottom halves of the buns with tomato sauce and mustard.

  4. Build burgers with onion, gherkins, burger patty, tomato and lettuce.

  5. Spread mayonnaise on the top halves of the buns to sandwich together. Tips! Play around with cheeses for a Gourmet twist but stick to young, mild varieties for ultra-meltability
