Beef Burgers With Mango & Cucumber Ribbons Recipe

This burger packs a light, fresh, zesty punch which is quickly mellowed out by a healthy lather of cream cheese.

Ingredients

  • Angel Bay Gourmet Lite Beef Patties
  • Whole Wheat Burger Bun
  • 1/2 Cucumber, ribboned
  • 1 Mango, ribboned
  • 1/2 Cup Cream Cheese
  • Salad leaves
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice
  • Mint, finely chopped
  • Chilli, finely chopped (optional)

Method

  1. Cook Angel Bay Gourmet Lite Beef Burger patties according to the product instructions.

  2. While the patties are cooking, halve the burger bun and lightly toast both halves under the grill or on the hot plate.

  3. Run a potato peeler across the cucumber and mango to create ribbons. Toss together with the lime juice and mint. Add chilli for a bit of extra kick.

  4. Spread a thick layer of cream cheese on each bun followed by the salad leaves. Add the lite burger patty and ribboned vegetables and pop the top bun on to serve.
